Wee bit of the last 2 years in my life

Its been just over 2 years now since mum past away.At that time with all what was going on in my life i didnt relise i was such bad condition with myself.It really hit me bad when going to mums funeral that i couldnt fit in my trousers and had bad heart burn aswell.Didnt sleep much and after funeral looked at myself in the mirror.
Hell what a shock how i looked.Hell it frightened me in a big way.
 Jerry lee my best friend died 2 months before mum so really my back bone had gone  and when mum past away i just went out of condition with myself.When i measured my waist it was nearly 38inch  never in my life ever been that size.As iam about 34inch my waist normally. No wonder i couldnt fit in my clothes.
So at that time with no work thought i would do some exercise here at home and started to walk aswell.
Each day just done a wee bit exercise infact i couldnt manage 6 sit ups when i started.i just done a bit in the morning for an hour and the afternoon for an hour aswell.
The speed walk i do with kilo ankle weights i do is about mile and half and walk it in about 30mins.So carried on with my exercise twice a day for an hour.After the first month the heart burn was about gone and i slepted better aswell.Also could just get back in my jeans etc
I carried on doing this exercise twice a day 6 days a week and try and make sunday my lazy day.As time went on my waist trimmed down slowly but it was shrinking just.
When no work infact with work i still do my exercises each day.
About 6 months ago went to sort my daughters payment for her college but while i was there in Carlisle thought i would swim for an hour.Blow me to god it nearly killed me couldnt do 2 lengths ooohh  shit.
Me thinking doing my exercise at home was helping me but hell not really as i couldnt manage 2 lengths in the pool.So decision time to add swimming in the 6 day exercise  and try and get fitter.
So i added in swimming twice a week with my exercise at home.I struggled with swimming as i was using muscles in my body what hadnt been used for a long in my life infact the last time i was swimming was 14 years ago.No wonder they where dorment muscles in my body.
The last six months with swimming twice a week has made me feel a bit fitter in myself
Each day of the week apart from a sunday i do my hour exercise twice a day and on tuesday and thursday swim an hour aswell.I also do the excercise as much as i can when i work aswell.
In my hour exercise consists of 60 sit ups,50 touch toes,20 pec fly,20 semi press ups,20 leg pulls to get warmed up and then 1.5 mile speed walk  after walk repeat the warm up exercises and finish of with 3 miles on v-fit cycle. Yes that is my hour exercise  what i do twice a day 6 days a week  and of course swimmimng twice a week aswell.
With no one telling what to do as i do it for myself and i do push myself an odd time.After building myself back up with swimming from struggling to do 2 lentghs .I set myself as long as i do 20 lengths iam happy any more is an bonus.Just like the last 3 visits to the swimming pool i manage to do 50 lengths each time.That made me feel prouder in myself.One thing when iam back home i do my hour exercise aswell.
The last 2 years from being in a bad way sort of got myself fit again i hope and will carry on exercising as i enjoy doing it.
 So a wee bit from the last 2 years what i have been up to in my life.
