xmas eve

Yes Xmas eve is here and after a week of snow and ice it will be a white xmas day.
As we are a week away from the end of the year just hope i can close the year off in a happy mood for change.
With xmas day tomorrow my daughter Diane is here on her college xmas break.So its great to have her company here at home.As my daughter is like me xmas time is just like another day for us.As we do with being scottish we celebrate the new year in style each year as we do.
Think with my daughter grown up now nearly 17 over the last 11years me bringing her up alone.The xmas days just dwindle away with her getting older. Thats why its just like another day but as i say its the new years day is what we will celebrate a bit better this year to welcome 2011 in.
As iam with my dad most nights in his hoose and in front of his coal fire.Dad is like me about xmas being just another day but he will go to my brothers for xmas dinner.Then at night i will be with him and no doubt have a wee dram.
My friend Giorgia and her daughter landed safe and sound as she got her flight back as the airports back open.As far as i know her time with her mum was brilliant and of course mums cooking aswell.Giorgia and her daughter back at home now for xmas.
While iam sitting here writing this the sun is shining and on top of the snow looks perfect but it is still -2 outside.My feet felt that when i was in the town this morning to get the last of shopping in.Mine you the way people are going in Tescos today being so busy with xmas but shops closed tomorrow,sunday,bank holiday monday and tuesday and with the snow coming back.Might be that the shops will run out as they will not get any deliveries till after tuesday but if snow is back they will not get any deliveries.
Do you think people a getting into panic buying after the last 4 weeks here they had to ration bread etc to people after 14days in areas as shop couldnt get deliveries as the snow stopped them but now with xmas day and bank holidays and snow is on its ways agian the next few days
Thinking of lot people are stocking up
Ok enough aboot the weather
You know we break the ice with someone who you really like then a few days later hits a stumbling block and you dont what to say or do and you quiz yourself an you dont know what to say.
Yes iam in that predicament at moment but hell it happens to all of us at some point but iam going to have to get my one and only brain cell working in over drive to say the right words next to eemmmmm.
